” The wedding Pre-shoot is a great way to feel more relaxed on your wedding day”
A pre-shoot has become the name for a ‘practice photography session‘ before the wedding. Our pre-shoots have developed over the years and now include a practice in the church as well. The idea is to make you feel more relaxed in front of the camera. I show you how to stand for group shots and any set shots you would like. We visit the church and the wedding reception venue and find a few places where we can produce the best images on the day. We also go through a wet weather plan and find a room at your venue where we can photograph the groups if we have some rain. The best thing about the pre-shoot, is it will make you realise that the photography style I have developed is designed to make you enjoy the wedding photography not hate it. Most people start off quite nervous at the pre-shoot which is quite normal, by the middle to end of the session they are usually dragging me around their venue coming up with new ideas and poses – which is great, and this is the whole idea. By the time it comes to the wedding day the couple don’t worry about photography as they realise that when I say its ‘Relaxed informal wedding photography’ I mean it. We then edit all your images and produce a collection for you on DVD.
